Adrian's dad who's an ex international arranged for the team to play an Invitational Friendly against an oddly strong Thai side in May.
Out of the 4 games we played, we won once, drew twice and lost once to teams who were formerly from the Thai national football team. Not bad at all, considering that we are a bunch of amateurs.
The so-called futsal pitch in Bangkok
We arrive on Saturday morning expecting a parquet futsal but we saw this. It looks like a miniature football field with artificial grass, slightly smaller than a field but definately much bigger than a futsal court.
And we played using a size 5 football instead of a futsal ball. One bounce harder and higher than the latter so you can imagine us jokers trying to control a football...
But anyways, we had good fun... it was all good experience 'representing' Malaysia in this International Friendly...
