Can you guess where I saw this?



I saw this at the ZOO, yes our very own Zoo Negara. Went there last Saturday and darn, there were sh*tloads of people. Parking was really a hassle.

Earlier this year, a group of students from the college sponsored a parrot for 1K a year. Corporate Social Responsibility la... But the management of the Zoo had misplaced the signage outside some kangaroo's den, far far away from the parrot's, and the description of the animals were gone.

Adrian's dad who's an ex international arranged for the team to play an Invitational Friendly against an oddly strong Thai side in May.

Out of the 4 games we played, we won once, drew twice and lost once to teams who were formerly from the Thai national football team. Not bad at all, considering that we are a bunch of amateurs.




The so-called futsal pitch in Bangkok

We arrive on Saturday morning expecting a parquet futsal but we saw this. It looks like a miniature football field with artificial grass, slightly smaller than a field but definately much bigger than a futsal court.

And we played using a size 5 football instead of a futsal ball. One bounce harder and higher than the latter so you can imagine us jokers trying to control a football...

But anyways, we had good fun... it was all good experience 'representing' Malaysia in this International Friendly...
